TaylorMade's new R9 series has a classic look and shape of a traditional iron set but uses the distance & control technologies typically found in a more forgiving, oversize model.

 

Features:

1. Velocity-Control Chamber in 3 - 6-irons for increased consistency, ball speed and power

2. Innovative shock-absorption system in 3 - 6 irons for satisfying feel and sound

3. Deep undercut cavity and heel-toe weighting in short-irons for increased forgiveness

4. Beveled sole in every iron reduces turf resistance and promotes crisp contact

5. Optimized Inverted Cone Technology increases COR to promote distance

6. VCC foam, silicone shock absorber and vibration-quieting cavity badge prevent the irons from vibrating on off center shots

7. USGA approved grooves
